I have been busy with music since I was 15 years old. At the age of 15 I started to set up a youth box where I quickly learned how to mix on technics sl1200.

 

Then I had a number of illegal radio stations. From there I started a radioshow on Velsen Radio

 

At one point I was one of the first in the Netherlands to buy 2 pioneer CDJ 500 CD players and to purchase a D&R disteq. And gone practicing mixing on CD players. At that time there was a lot of laughter about the fact that everyone thought you couldn't seriously mix with CD players. But soon I showed that it was no problem at all. And now you have to see ... Nowadays, almost every DJ-Booth has a number of pioneer CD players ready to compete with each other.

 

I then also started producing so that I could use it in my DJ sets. Purely for myself so that I could play something that was exclusive. Sometimes with success and sometimes with disaster. That way I discovered that what sounds good at home in your sleeping room on the dance floor could be a total disaster.

 

In 1999 we also started giving dance parties with a small group of people. There was the very first dance for warchild

 

 

At a certain point my children came and I took a moment to distance myself from the entire music. I wanted to put my family in first place.

 

But nowadays I have resumed production. And I enjoy it again. And I would like to help young people on their journey with good solid knowledge and practical experience so that they can perhaps make their dream come true.

 

In other words, a musical opportunity for everyone.
